Wind tower packages
The EMO plate rolls were the first of the lines to be provided with the WIND TOWER PACKAGE, lateral hydraulic supports that highlight the flexibility and power of this variable axis machine.
The EMO machines are able to tilt the Top Roll on the vertical axis and the bottom rolls on the horizontal axis.
Thanks to this unique feature, during the cone bending process there is no need for a contrast equipment and
therefore the sides of the plate are free of weariness.
This gives a better result during the sections welding.
Using the top roll as a hydraulic press is possible to bend cones up to 100% of the machine capacity.
All three rolls can tilt up to 60mm each.
The EMO flexibility with the WIND TOWER PACKAGE, has made possible for this SERTOM plate roll to be the best solution available for the production of Wind Tower poles.
